Supposingly, Facebook is going to start charging a fee of $1.99 to send a message to someone you are not friends with on the social networking site. Many people feel that this is a complete outrage. It’s just another way for Facebook to make even more money. However, it is said that the reason they are doing this is to protect again spam. It somewhat makes sense, but at the same time it could just be a very good coverup. Nothing has been made final yet, and they are still trying to decide whether to go through with it or not. In my opinion, I don’t think they should go through with this because there are privacy settings to prevent someone you are not friends with from messaging you, so why make it cost money?
